Bury Me Alive Request Page
One of the easiest things we can do to help We Are The Fallen is to start requesting the new single on the radio. You can find the contact information for your local radio station at www.radio-locator.com. Right now we are focusing on ROCK stations. Be sure to request the song from rock stations only. You can also request the song on satellite radio. BMA is already getting airplay on the Sirus/XM station Octane. You can request it here: Octane Request Page - be sure to follow the guidlines below!
Bury Me Alive will be available on iTunes and Amazon starting February 2nd. Even if you already have the song, please download it again to help We Are The Fallen in the charts (the new version is remastered!). You can also buy multiple copies of the song & gift it on iTunes. However, please limit your purchases to 10 per day. Anything more than that won't count!
Radio Request Tips
• Your requests will be taken more seriously if you come across as a casual listener (instead of an obsessed fan!). Don't say, "I'm a huge WATF fan." Instead be casual and friendly and request the specific song you want to hear. Don't tell them you're part of the street team.• Try to phone in your request instead of emailing it. Only request online if you can't call. If you send an email, limit your request to once per week. Do not send requests from different email addresses - they can see how many emails come from the same ip address and it will be obvious to the station that someone is trying to inflate the demand for the song.
• Only request songs from stations in your area. If you are requesting from stations out of your area (unless you can listen online) the stations will get annoyed.
• Don't repeatedly request the song from the same DJ. Be patient, sometimes it takes a while for them to start playing a new song and you don't want to annoy the DJ - then they might not play the song at all. Instead show the DJ you are a real listener by using his or her name or make a reference to something they said or did. Limit your requests to once or twice a week.
• Make sure you don't request the song during an inappropriate time (such as 80's hour). Listen to the station for a few minutes before requesting so you can be sure it's an appropriate time to request. Many stations have a special request hour, such as 12-1 or 5-6. Find out when that time is for your station.
• Listen to the station you are requesting from. If you hear the song played, call in and thank the DJ for playing it. You can tell them how much you like the song or ask for more information about it. This will give positive feedback on the song and show you are listening to the station.
• Get your friends and family involved! Let them listen to the song and if they like it (or like you!) ask them to help you by also requesting the song. Be sure to show them these guidelines. Build a network of local listeners that love the new song and can help request it.
out when that time is for your station.
• When you hear the song on the radio, post it in the BMA Request Thread. Be sure to note the date & time, station and city where it played.
