Webmaster's notes in [brackets] IRISH American Idol star Carly Smithson introduced hubby Todd to the green green grass of home yesterday as they touched down in Ireland.

This is the first time Carly's husband of nearly two [four] years has come to Dublin - or met most of her family.

Carly, 24, who will stay with her mum Sarah [aka: Marie] at the family home in Balbriggan, said: "It's so great to be back. I don't spend nearly enough time in Ireland these days.

"And I'm really excited about Todd meeting my brothers [brother & sister] and my cat."

"We're going to chill out, catch up with some friends and hopefully make it out for a pint or two of Guinness."

Carly came sixth in American Idol, the biggest reality show in the world, which received a massive 92million votes for the final last week.

She now has a short break before taking part in a US tour with her fellow finalists.
